What work environments are the applications designed for?
Software features are simply enabled or disabled to support small to mid-sized organizations, from a few to a few thousand employees, across a broad spectrum of industries. Broadening your customer base is easier due to flexibility in utilizing applications individually, as a complete suite, or in conjunction with third party applications, content and/or services.

What external systems and software do the applications interface with?
Standard Application Protocol Interfaces (APIs) simplify data exchange to and from most Payroll, Human Resources and other external systems. Depending on functionality and type of data being exchanged, a variety of data exchange mechanisms are available including, but not limited to, HTTP/HTTPS file transfers, web service interfaces, and FTP file data uploads. For external systems and software capable of sending data freely and securely, a mashup of multiple data sources can exist within a single screen of our application(s).

Who hosts the applications?
With most partnerships, we host the applications. Given certain business expertise and/or transactional volume, alternative arrangements can be made in which you host the applications for your customers.

Do the applications require software to be installed on the desktop?
No. As with most native web applications, the software is accessed through a browser.

How secure is a service provider's data and that of its customers?
Our applications reside in one of the only commercially available hosting environments that is compliant with Department of Defense (DoD) standards for a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF). Our production and offsite disaster recovery environments have completed SAS70 Type II audits and hold SafeHarbor certifications.

We have recently completed our 2010 SAS 70 Type II audit. This audit was performed in accordance with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Statement on Auditing Standards (SAS) No. 70. THE DELIVERY MODEL:
What is Software-as-a-Service (SaaS)?
The SaaS model is predicated on a one-to-many or multi-client delivery model whereby an application is shared across customers. Application access is granted and paid for based on a specified service period.
Top
Why leverage a SaaS-based workforce management solution as a service provider?
Without the necessity of having technical expertise onsite, service providers can leverage online tools that streamline sales and implementation initiatives, increasing revenue as operating costs and overall business risk decrease.
Top
What benefits do customers leveraging a service provider experience under a SaaS model?
Customers require significantly less up-front investment and few, if any, technical resources to implement and support an application. Additionally, by allowing customers to access the current version of an application without requiring software updates at their location(s), greater usability is achieved. Because of the "always on" and "available from anywhere" approach, customers are able to more freely exchange data with members of their organization and other systems.
